Players use solid paddles made of wood or composite materials to hit a perforated plastic ball, similar to a wiffle ball, back and forth over the net. The objective is to score points by making the ball land inside the opposing team’s court without them returning it successfully. The serving player must serve the ball diagonally, and the receiving team must allow the ball to bounce once before returning it. Once the ball is in play, both teams can volley (hit the ball in the air without letting it bounce) until a point is scored.
